Tabor House publishes impact report
Birmingham homeless shelter, Tabor House, has released its impact report for its first two years of operation.
With foreword from Fr Michael White, Chair of the iShelter management committee, the report looks at the challenges and successes during 2018 and 2019.
Fr Michael writes:
The report acknowledges that there have been challenges. It also reports on critical comments that are making us reflect on how we work. We will continue to review our work in the light of what we have read.
I would also ask you to read this report. It is honest, and honesty is what we so badly need in our politics, church life and charitable work.

Tabor House is run by iShelter, under the umbrella of Father Hudson’s Care. As well as offering a warm and safe place to sleep, it supports people experiencing homelessness to move away from the streets and into more permanent accommodation.
