Digbeth-based homeless shelter, Tabor House, is looking for people to join their team. They are recruiting a Mentor Coach and a Volunteer Co-ordinator to join them in supporting people experiencing homelessness to turn their lives around.
Mentor Coach – Ref P1218
16 hours per week.
Salary, £21,247 – £22,573 per annum, pro rata
We are recruiting a Mentor Coach to work with a team of volunteer mentors to help guests take control of their lives. With knowledge on homelessness and issues faced by rough sleepers, we are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about social justice and embraces diversity. You will excel at working with others towards a common goal and have a proactive ‘can do’ approach.
Volunteer Co-ordinator – Ref P1219
21 hours per week.
Salary, £21,247 – £22,573 per annum, pro rata
We require an enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train and support a large team of volunteers, therefore experience of managing and supporting volunteers is essential. An effective communicator, you will be self-motivated and have a planned and organised approach.
Both posts are fixed term for one year. The successful candidates will be required to work on a flexible basis with occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends.
