Father Hudson’s Care celebrates 120 years
2022 marks the 120th anniversary of social care charity, Father Hudson’s Care.
Established in 1902 by Monsignor George Vincent Hudson, the charity provides services for people who are experiencing a range of support needs.
Initially founded to care for vulnerable children, the charity has since expanded its work and now supports people with a diversity of needs.
They work with people who are homeless; those living with complex disabilities; refugees and asylum seekers; older people that live with dementia, frail health, or isolation; children and young people for whom foster care or family support will help them achieve their potential; and adults who have been in care in childhood or adopted.
To celebrate their milestone anniversary, the charity is going to be sharing stories during the year that capture the diversity and impact of their work. These will be shared on their website, social media and also through their newsletter.
They are also running a special 120 anniversary appeal. If you would like to contribute to their work, you can donate on JustGiving.
